Living Reef Memorial is a division of the Global Preservation Project (GPP). GPP is an international ecological nonprofit operating ecological projects in Belize, Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Mexico. . As part of our mission to help correct environmental issues such as global warming, pollution, habitat destruction, deforestation, and species extinction rates, GPP evaluates industries whose methods are not ecologically beneficial and reengineer them to be so. In the case of Living Reef Memorial GPP has evaluated the funeral industry and found an innovative way to assist our planet’s failing seas, and create a business model that can be used throughout the world.
